Kerala Professional Housekeepers Association

Who we are

KPHA (Kerala Professional Housekeepers Association) is a knowledge sharing platform for Housekeeping fraternity, striving to bring the entire housekeeping professionals in Kerala under one roof. It is a self-funding non-profit association run by elected professionals volunteering their time.

This was an initiative of few housekeeping professionals from different hotels in Cochin who met for a cup of tea in order to know each other in the early month of 2015.This developed into a strong friendship and bonding which towards the end of the year lead to the launch of a KPHA with just 20 members initially.

Members are professionals from Hotels, Hospitals, Facility Managements and Academy. KPHA creates sustainable employment opportunity and bridges the gap between the industry and technology by organising skill development programmes for the most unrecognised section of the society. Periodic meetings are held to reduce rivalry, increase friendship and bonding among the members.

The members with their vast professional experience in their carrier contributed whole heartedly for the development of the fraternity since the beginning. This was the key for this association to become a pioneer in the industry the proof for which is the increase in number of members from 20 to 200, within a short span of 8 years from the time of its inception.
